Ahmedabad, July 19: A woman from Khoraj in Gujarat recently approached the police and lodged a complaint of domestic violence against her husband. The woman has accused her husband of forcing her to disrobe in front of his friends during parties. The 35-year-old woman also alleged that her husband used to beat her when she refused to disrobe herself.
The complainant, a VFX artist working in the film industry, lives in Khoraj, reports Times of India. She has accused her husband, a polite with an international airline, of domestic violence during the five years of their married life. The couple, who originally hails from Dehradun in Uttarakhand, have known each other for eight years. After beginning a relationship, the couple moved to Kolkata first and later to Mumbai. In Mumbai, the woman worked as a VFX artist in the film industry. In her complaint, the woman claimed that when they moved to Mumbai post wedding, her husband would call his friends home for parties. She further claimed that her husband used to force her to play the "truth or dare" game during the parties.
At the same parties, the woman said her husband would force her to disrobe herself in front of his friends. The complainant also alleged that her husband would beat her if she refused or objected to him. The woman also stated that they had disputes over her husband's obscene demands. The couple had recently moved to Khoraj in Gujarat. The complaint also stated that after moving to Khoraj, her husband continued to harass her.
