Gujarat Shocker: 5-Year-Old Boy Hides in Car to Avoid Bath, Suffocates to Death

In an unfortunate incident, a five-year-old boy who did not want to take a bath fled from his house and hid inside a car only to get suffocated to death as the four-wheeler got locked automatically. The incident took place in Junagadh GIDC on September 23 but came to light on Tuesday when the cops registered a case of accidental death.

Rajkot, September 27: In an unfortunate incident, a five-year-old boy who did not want to take a bath fled from his house and hid inside a car only to get suffocated to death as the four-wheeler got locked automatically. The incident took place in Junagadh GIDC on September 23 but came to light on Tuesday when the cops registered a case of accidental death.

TOI reported that the boy’s mother was bathing his three-year-old brother. As Adtiya was next in the line and did want to bathe, he ran away from there, searching for a place to hide. He saw a car and sneaked inside as it was not locked. However, the car got locked automatically. His mother finished bathing his brother and started searching for him. When the boy was nowhere to be found, his father Ravindra Bharti, a native of Uttar Pradesh, requested the factory owner to check the CCTVs. When they went to the car and opened the door, he was found unconscious and struggling to breathe. Aditya was taken to the Junagadh Civil Hospital, which referred him to a private hospital in Rajkot looking at the severity of his condition. However, he died on the way.

Incidentally, the car was that of the factory owner who had employed his parents a few months ago.

The Bharati family has been living in a small room allotted to them by the owner of the plastics factory where the husband and wife work.

According to sources, the police also investigated other aspects, suspecting that it could be murder, but found such criminal intent was found.
