New Delhi, March 1: The total gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue collected in February 2019 is Rs 97,247 crore of which Central GST (CGST) is 17,626 crore, State GST (SGST) is Rs 24,192 crore, Integrated GST (IGST) is Rs 46,953 crore and Cess is Rs 8,476 crore. The GST collections in February dropped to Rs Rs 97,247 Crore in last month from Rs 1.02 lakh crore in January, said Finance ministry. "The total gross GST revenue collected in February 2019 is Rs 97,247 crore of which Central GST is Rs 17,626 crore, State GST (SGST) is Rs 24,192 crore, Integrated GST (IGST) is Rs 46,953 crore and Cess is Rs 8,476 crore," the ministry said in a statement. GST Scam: Two Held After GST Intelligence Detects Fraud of Rs 141 Crore in Chhattisgarh.

Revenue collected in February, 2018, was Rs 85,962 crore, witnessing a growth of 13.12 per cent, in February 2019, over the revenue in the same month last year. GST collections in the current fiscal till last month totalled to Rs 11.47 lakh crore. Initially, the government had targeted GST collection Rs 13.71 lakh crore but later lowered it to Rs 11.47 lakh.
