Pro-Palestine protesters and other activists have allegedly caused chaos at the Watergate Hotel in Washington DC, US, where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is staying. Multiple videos going viral on social media show maggots and mealworms being placed on the banquet tables of the hotel. Besides, the pro-Palestine protestors also released crickets on several floors of the hotel, which caused the fire alarm to get activated for nearly 30 minutes. The incident was confirmed by a pro-Palestinian organization who shared a video online. They said that their actions were meant to ensure that there would be no rest for Israeli PM Netanyahu and the Congress. Notably, the act by pro-Palestine protestors and activists came ahead of Netanyahu's scheduled address to Congress.
