Mumbai, November 7: Republican candidate and former US president Donald Trump's return as the 47th President of the United States in the recently concluded US Elections 2024 reportedly caused a decline in gold prices on Wednesday, November 6. Notably, the prices of the yellow metal fell by INR 500 per 10 gm to INR 78,100 in the physical market. Similarly, the All India Sarafa Association also said that gold prices fell by INR 150 to INR 81,150 per 10 grams in Delhi on Wednesday, November 6, when the counting of ballots for the US Presidential Election took place. The sudden decline in gold prices came as an initial reaction to Donald Trump's victory speech after winning the US presidential election 2024.

Experts also said that the rate of gold will be under pressure for the next seven to 10 days.
