Ghaziabad, December 30: In a tragic incident that took place recently, six people, including five children were electrocuted to death at a house in Loni, due to short circuit. According to an NDTV report, an elderly woman also died along with the children. The current came down in the fridge as it was reduced to ashes.
In another tragic incident that took place in September this year, just ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi 2019, two people died of electrocution while carrying a 26-feet-tall Ganesha idol on Tuesday late evening. The incident took place in Ankleshwar town of Gujarat, where seven other people suffered electric shocks while trying to untangle an overhead electric wire. Last year, two sisters were electrocuted to death after a high tension cable snapped in a dust storm and fell on their house in Rajasthan's Sikar district.
