One of the most awaited festivals celebrated in India, the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is around the corner. Starting September 2, the festival of Ganeshotsav begins in the country and people have already started prepping up. Several devotees will already be planning days to visit the famous Ganesh pandals across the city of Mumbai. Chancing upon the opportunity of people visiting Ganesh pandals each year, a company called Dream Destination decided to make a travel package out of it. A certain pamphlet of Ganpati Darshan in the city in Rs 300 is being shared on social media. According to the poster, the top famous Ganpati pandals of the city would be covered within Rs 300 with snacks, tea and water bottle. On contacting the Ganesh mandals, they refused to be a part of any such campaign. Lalbaugcha Raja 2019 Darshan: How to Reach The Famous Ganeshotsav Pandal of Mumbai By Train or Road This Ganesh Chaturthi.

Fort Ka Raja, Girgaon Raja, K N Chawl, Chandan Wadi, Ganesh Gali, Lalbaughcha Raja, Chinchpokali cha Chintamani and Khetwadi ka Ganraj would be covered in the Ganpati Darshan tour. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the concerned mandals denied the claims and said that people are being fooled in the name of Ganesh mandals. "There is no relation between the post and the Ganesh Mandals it mentions. When we got to know about it, we tried to contact the number, however, we could not get through. We will soon be filing a complaint," said Nayan Dumbare of Fortcha Raja Mandal in Mumbai Mirror report. The mandals appealed to the people to not fall for such offers.

However, the company later posted an apology about the same. They mentioned that they only wanted to give service of Ganpati darshan to devotees at a minimal cost. In the apology, they also added that they would not provide any transport service or any kind of VIP treatment. They apologised to all the Ganpati mandals for the inconvenience. While the company may have apologised and retracted the advert, it is still important for others to beware of such kind of fake messages. It is a good chance for dupers to make money from the devotees in the name of God.
