New Delhi, June 19: For the festivals as well as special events, Indian Railways run special trains across the country. For Ganesh Chaturthi 2019, the Western Railways will facilitate pilgrims with four special trains. The festive trains will run between Mumbai Central - Thivim, Ahmedabad - Sawantwadi, Ahmedabad  - Thivim, Vadodara - Sawantwadi Road and vice versa. Ganesh Chaturthi, a Hindu festival, is celebrated as birth anniversary of Lord Ganesha. Here is the list of special train services, or exclusive festival trains, which will be run to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival period. Details of the Special Trains are as follows:

Mumbai Central-Thivim-Mumbai Central (Train no. 09007/09008)

  • Train No. 09007 Special will leave Mumbai Central at 23:55 hrs August 29, September 2, September 5, and September 12 and will arrive Thivim at 16:00 hrs next day.
  • Train No. 09008 Special will leave Thivim at 16:30 hrs on August 30, September 3, September 6 and September 13 and will arrive Mumbai Central at 09:30 hrs next day.

These trains will halt at - Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Madure stations and will have 20 coaches including one AC-2 Tier, three AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper class and 4 General second class and two SLR coaches.

Ahmedabad- Sawantwadi Road- Ahmedabad (Train no. 09416/09415)

  • Train No. 09416 Special will leave Ahmedabad at 09:40 hrs on August 27, and September 10 and will arrive Sawantwadi at 05:30 hrs next day.
  • Train No. 09415 Special will leave Sawantwadi at 06:10 hrs on August 28, and September 11 and will arrive Ahmedabad at 01:00 hrs next day.

These trains will halt at - Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Madure stations and will have 20 coaches including one AC-2 Tier, three AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper class and 4 General second class and two SLR coaches.

  • Train No. 09417 Special will leave Thivim at 16:30 hrs on August 31, September 7 and September 14 and will arrive Ahmedabad at 16:00 hrs next day.

These trains will halt at Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Madure stations and will have 20 coaches including one AC-2 Tier, three AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper class and 4 General second class and two SLR coaches.

Vadodara- Sawantwadi Road- Vadodara (Train no 09106/09105)

  • Train No. 09106 Special will leave Vadodara at 15:20 hrs onon September 1 and September 8 and will arrive Sawantwadi Road at 16:00 hrs next day.
  • Train No. 09105 Special will leave Sawantwadi Road at 10:00 hrs on September 2 and September 9 and will arrive Vadodara at 05:30 hrs next day.

These trains will halt at Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Dahanu Road, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Kankavali, Kudal and Zarap stations and will have 22 LHB coaches including one AC-2 Tier, four AC-3 Tier, 11 Sleeper class and 4 General second class and two Generator car.
