Nagpur, November 14: In an era where a phone is everyone's first priority, a 14-year-old boy addicted to video games allegedly committed suicide after his mother took away his phone from him. The incident took place on Monday in Maharashtra's Nagpur. The deceased was identified as Krish Sunil Lunawat, who was addicted to video games and used to spend hours playing the game on his mobile.

He lived with his mother and sister in a rented house in Nagpur's Mahal area. According to police, the boy had stopped going to school for the past one year, his mother and sister were working, as the boy used to stay alone at the house most of the time. Delhi Teen Kills Mother, Father And Sister; Police Say He Was Addicted to Online Game.

The boy had recently asked his mother to buy a new Play Station set for him but she denied it. Later, Krish's mother had to go to Mumbai and she asked him to give his phone after he refused to give, she forcibly took it away and left for Mumbai. Angry over this, the boy allegedly hanged himself from a ceiling fan at his house using a bed sheet. The incident came to light when his sister came home from the office. Later the incident was reported to police and a case was registered.
