Mumbai, September 8: Ragibagada Srinivas Reddy (53) slipped into a coma and was declared dead following an incident where concrete slabs from an under-construction building collapsed on him, burying him beneath a pile of debris two years ago. Reddy, a cotton farmer from Sangareddy district, miraculously survived the ordeal. However, he remained unconscious and paralysed in bed for an extended period of two months following a brief stay in the hospital.

No one had faith that he would ever regain consciousness, let alone take the challenging journey to the Amarnath shrine this year. A miracle unfolded, and Srinivas Reddy has now returned from his inspiring pilgrimage to the sacred Shiva abode. Reportedly, he completed pilgrimages to five Jyotirlinga Kshetras, including Varanasi and Srisailam, before tragedy struck. Mahesh Baghel Comes Back to Life After 'Death': Declared 'Dead', Ex-BJP District President in Agra Revives While Family Was Preparing for Cremation.

According to the Times of India, a dreadful incident occurred on May 17, 2021, while he oversaw renovations on his Doultabad residence with a team of construction workers. Reddy told TOI that doctors did not even give him a 1% chance to live. As per the reports, following two months in a coma, Reddy awoke to discover his body adorned with tubes. This marked the commencement of his path to recuperation.
