New Delhi, November 3: A former Indian Army captain, Mukesh Chopra, was arrested for allegedly stealing books from Manekshaw Centre in Delhi Cantt area. Chopra, who was discharged from service in 1983, has dual citizenship of Canada and the United States of America (USA). Police initially suspected that he could be spying for an agency. According to the report, Arora entered the library saying that he was ex-servicemen. When he was leaving after allegedly stealing some books, he was nabbed by Army officials who handed him over to police. Indian National, Allegedly Operating As Pakistani Spy, Arrested by BSF in Ferozepur. 

In Delhi police custody, Arora was interrogated by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Delhi Police Special Cell. "It is difficult to say much right now. The suspect is being questioned by several agencies. Nothing concrete has come out as yet," a police officer told news agency IANS.

Arora told police that he came from Hong Kong three days ago to attend a wedding function in Noida and was staying with his brother in Basant Kunj. He said that he was expelled from the Army for misconduct. Meanwhile, cops are investigating the matter.
