Thane, Sep 30: A fire has eupted at a power house of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), also known as Mahavitaran or Mahadiscom, at Savarkar Nagar in Thane. At least fourt fire tenders were at the spot to douse the raging fire, reported news agency ANI.
While a fire extinguishing operation was underway, the cause of the fire was not immidiately known. The incident may disrupt electricity supply in parts of Thane. Further details were awaited.
