Mumbai, December 24: According to news reports, fire broke out in shanties near Malwani area of Malad, Mumbai on early Monday morning. Five fire tenders are at the spot, trying to contain the fire. No casualty has been reported from the incident. This is the second incident of fire in as many days reported from Mumbai. On Sunday, a fire of minor-to-moderate intensity was reported in Kandivali (East) region of the city in the evening. At least four fire tenders were rushed to the site to douse off the flames. No casualties were reported. The fire, categorised as "Level-2", erupted at a cloth factory in Damu Nagar, located close to the MIDC bus stop in eastern part of Kandivali, a suburb in Mumbai.
