Chandigarh, August 16: Fire broke out in the OPD (Out-Patient Department) of Ludhiana Civil Hospital. According to media reports, patients were immediately evacuated from the hospital. Fire tenders have reached the spot and rescue operations are underway.

A level II fire had broken out at a godown in Mumbai's Parel area on Monday morning. No damage to life and property had been reported. According to a tweet by ANI, a total of 12 fire tenders had been rushed to the spot.
Mumbai had witnessed a massive fire incident in Chembur area on August 8, after a major fire broke out at state-run Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd (BPCL) plant in Mumbai's Chembur. At least 45 workers were injured in a fire that took place following a boiler blast.
