Fire at Kolkata's Traders Assembly Building, Rescue Operations Underway as Several Feared Trapped

Kolkata, January 20: Sunday morning brought some bad news for the Traders Assembly Building at Gariahat as fire broke out in the building late in the night. The daily quoted fire officials as saying that the blaze had its origin either from the transformers in the building on the ground floor, or in any of the temporary shops that the hawkers have set up outside the building on the footpath just outside the structure.
