Bareilly, July 21: In a strange but baffling incident, a Fatwa (a ruling on a point of Islamic law given by a recognized authority) was issued on Saturday against Nida Khan, a triple talaq victim, and a cash reward was announced for anyone who would chop off the hair of the woman.
According to media reports, Nida Khan has been in the eye of storm of Muslim clerics ever since she has been speaking against instant triple Talaq and Nikah Halala practice.
Talking to news agency ANI, Khan said that a fatwa has been issued against her and as per the fatwa, whoever chops off her hair and produces it to the Fatwa issuing authority, will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs 11, 786. Check the ANI tweet below:

Nida Khan also said that she has been ordered to leave the country within three days or face the risk of getting attacked by stones. Khan also said that she wanted to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Shahjahanpur today for a rally, but she decided against it due to her "own security issues." Check the tweet below:

Nida Khan has said that she will take a proper appointment to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Khan also added that people who issue such fatwas must be stopped from doing so. The Imam of Bareilly's Jama Masjid, earlier this week, had issued the above mentioned Fatwa against the victim, Nida Khan.
