Father Kills Daughter's Boyfriend in Mumbai, Arrested
The boy's dead body was found in the premises of Kalyan Station. Police investigations found that Rajendra, girl's father was against her relationship with Mishra.
Mumbai, August 8: Rajendra, a 67-year-old man took the help of two other men to kill his daughter's boyfriend, Surendra Mishra, 29. The Thane Police have arrested Rajendra and his two accomplices Bhaskar Naringkar (67) and Ravi Chaudhary (34). The 29-year old was reported missing on July 14 and the family had lodged a complaint. The boy's dead body was found in the premises of Kalyan Station. Police investigations found that Rajendra, girl's father was against her relationship with Mishra. The couple was planning to marry soon and were looking for a house. He was thus calling some estate agents. He received a call from someone identifying as an estate agent, asking him to meet near Thane railway station. When Surendra Mishra reached Thane station, he was kidnapped and taken to the Kopri area near the station, where he was murdered by Rajendra and the two men. Police have now arrested all the three men but there are possibilities that more people were also involved. The trio is being questioned by the police officials.
Among the two accomplices who helped in the murder, Bhaskar is also an elder, a retired government employee and Ravi Chaudhary works as a plumber. The police were able to track the accused by tracing the calls received on Surendra's phone. They found two numbers from which he had received calls on the day he went missing, which helped in nabbing the accused.
