With tensions between India and Pakistan rising with time and the Pakistan Air Force claiming to shoot down two Indian aircraft and apprehended an Indian pilot on Wednesday, news channels in Pakistan are broadcasting a news report claiming about it. Various versions are making the rounds over the incident on social media following the report.

In one of the news report by the Pakistani news channel, it was broadcast that the Pakistan Air Force shot down two IAF fighter jets across the Line of Control in Rajouri district in South Kashmir. Earlier, Major General Asif Ghafoor, Director General of the Pakistan Army's media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a tweet claimed, the Pakistan Air Force shot down two Indian aircraft and apprehended an Indian pilot. He also claimed that no F-16 fighter jets were used in the operations and no link with the fighter crashed in PoK.

As per to the reports, when Pakistan Air Force's F-16 fighter jets attempted to violate the Indian airspace, it was a Sukhoi Su-30 aircraft that chased it away. It has been confirmed that the video Pakistani media is showing on their national news channel on Wednesday is an old one, where a MiG crashed in Jodhpur district in 2016.
