Mumbai, July 20: A tattoo artist from Bengaluru is under investigation after posting a photo on Instagram. The image, which depicted a client with a provocative tattoo reading “F**k the police” across his chest, led to a formal complaint against the tattoo artist.

According to a report published by the Times of India, Ritesh Aghariya, the owner of Tattoo Sutra studio, has found himself under police scanner over an objectional Instagram post. The incident began when a social media user spotted the controversial tattoo and alerted the Bengaluru Police through their official X, formerly Twitter. The post quickly gained traction, prompting the Cubbon Park police station to initiate a suo motu case—a legal action taken by the authorities on their own accord—against the tattoo artist. Bengaluru: Faheem Firdous Qureshi, Kashmiri Employee of BIEC Makes Pro-Pakistan Post on X, Arrested.
