Washington, September 15: Soldiers of Indian and United States (US) army sang and danced on the Assam Regiment's marching song "Badluram ka badan zameen ke neeche hai" during 15th edition of joint military Exercise Yudh Abhyas on Sunday. The video of personnel of both the armies singing and dancing on Assam Regiment’s marching song was shared by news agency ANI and it is going viral on social media. The exercise is being carried out at Joint Base Lewis, McChord in the USA between September 5 and 18. Yesterday, both the sides conducted discussions, presentations showcasing strengths and rich traditions of respective Countries and Army. Earlier on September 13, Indian and the US soldiers exchanged best practices and combat drills on the Stryker Interim Armoured Vechicle (IAV). Exercise Yudh Abhyas is one of the largest joint running military training and defence corporation endeavours between India and USA. The exercise provided an opportunity to the armed forces of both countries to train in an integrated manner at Battalion level with joint planning at Brigade level. Multiple scenarios are being rehearsed during the joint exercise with a view to understanding each other's organisational structure and battle procedures.
