Bihar Governor Satya Pal Mallik and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today greeted the people of the state on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha festival.
Patna, Aug 21: Bihar Governor Satya Pal Mallik and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today greeted the people of the state on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha festival.

Kumar said the festival "underscores the importance of the ideal of sacrifice" and urged the people of the state to celebrate the festival in a spirit of "fraternity and harmony".
Leaders of the opposition in the assembly and the legislative council, Tejashwi Yadav and Rabri Devi respectively, besides former chief minister Lalu Prasad were among others who greeted the people of the state on the eve of the festival.
