Eid-E-Milad-Un-Nabi 2019: PM Narendra Modi Wishes Muslims on Prophet Mohammed's Birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wished Muslims on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi 2019.

New Delhi, November 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wished Muslims on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi 2019. A large section of Muslims in India observes Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi or Mawlid to commemorate Prophet Mohammed's birthday. The festival is being celebrated with religious fervour in various parts of the country today. In his greetings to Muslims on Eid-e-Milad, PM Narendra Modi wished for peace and harmony. Eid-E-Milad-Un-Nabi Mubarak 2019 Wishes: WhatsApp DP, Facebook Images, Greetings And Messages in Urdu And English to Celebrate Prophet Mohammed's Birthday.

"Greetings on Milad-Un-Nabi. Inspired by the thoughts of Prophet Muhammad, may this day further the spirit of harmony and compassion in society. May there be peace all around," PM Modi tweeted. President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu also greeted people on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad. PM Narendra Modi's Tweet:

"On the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), I extend my good wishes to all fellow citizens, especially to my Muslim brothers and sisters. Let us learn and get inspired from life of Prophet Muhammad and work for the well being of all by spreading his message of universal brotherhood and compassion," he said. Vice President Naidu said Prophet Mohammed "showed humanity the path of righteousness and virtue".

Eid-e-Milad is celebrated with the offering of prayers by thousands in mosques. Homes and places of worship are decorated with lights and people partake in feasts which are shared with the poor and the needy.
