Eid Al-Adha 2019 Namaz Timings: Bakrid Prayer Schedule of Eidgah And Mosques in Jammu Released

The Administrator of Auqaf Islamia Jammu, in a statement, informed about Namaz timings for Bakrid at various Eidgah and mosques in Jammu district. Eid Al-Adha or Bakrid or Bakra Eid will be celebrated in India on August 12.

Srinagar, August 10: As normalcy is gradually returning in Jammu following the scrapping of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution, authorities are gearing up for peaceful celebrations of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha festival, also known as Bakrid or Bakra Eid, in the state. The Administrator of Auqaf Islamia Jammu on Saturday released Namaz timings for Eid Al-Adha festival in Jammu district.

The Administrator of Auqaf Islamia Jammu, in a statement, informed about Namaz timings for Bakrid at various Eidgah and mosques in Jammu district. Srinagar District Magistrate Shahid Choudhary on Saturday announced that government employees will get advance salary today. Shahid Choudhary informed that authorities also eased prohibitory orders in most parts of Srinagar.

Eid Al-Adha Namaz Timings in Jammu District:

Earlier today, Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik reviewed preparations for the Eid Al-Adha celebrations. Malik said the administration is preparing for Eid and ensuring that maximum facilities are provided to the people. Jammu and Kashmir was put under complete lockdown on August 11, a day before the government scrapped the special status of the state under Article 370. The state now has been divided into two union territories - Jammu and Kashmir with legislature and Ladakh with one.
