Gorakhpur, August 11: Preparations for Bakrid are in full swing around the world as Eid al-Adha 2019 is just a day away. On Sunday, a goat named 'Salman' has gone into the sale in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur. The goat has become a hot topic among the buyers due to its unique marking. According to goat owner, the animal has 'Allah' written on his body. People are coming from far and wide to see it. Its owner Mohammad Nizamuddin has set the price of Rs 8 lakh for the goat. Considering the animal as special, Nizamuddin said, "There is Allah written on its body. Meanwhile, a similar market appeared in Delhi near Jama Masjid where seller from all over the country arrived to sell their goats at a good price. There was also a special goat named Sheru with 'Allah' written on his body. The goat was price at Rs 10 lakhs.
Eid al-Adha, the annual Islamic festival, will be celebrated tomorrow. The day honours Ibrahim as he was prepared to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God's name. During the time of ultimate sacrifice, his son was replaced with a goat by the god's grace.
