New Delhi, August 9: An earthquake, measuring 4.6 magnitudes on the Ritcher Scale, on Friday hit the India-Nepal border region. Tremors were felt in the India-Nepal border region when the earthquake struck around 6:10 pm.

Indian states that touch the border with Nepal are Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Sikkim.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
