New Delhi, November 11: A 5.0 magnitude earthquake shook Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand on Sunday. The earthquake hit Pithoragarh around 12:30 pm. According to the Disaster Control Department, there is no information about the loss of life and property anywhere so far. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 km.

According to the Meteorological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.0 in the Richter scale. On November 10, a magnitude 5.3 earthquake hit parts of Mizoram on Saturday night, the India Meteorological Department said. Earthquake of 4.1 Magnitude Hits Manipur's Chandel.

Earlier on November 7,  a 4.1-magnitude earthquake shook Chandel in Manipur on Wednesday. The earthquake hit Chandel at 4:20 am. No casualty or damage has been reported thus far.
