Sikar, March 17: A low-intensity earthquake hit Sikar district of Rajasthan in the wee hours of Sunday. According to news agency ANI, the earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale shook Sikar at 5:11 am.
"Earthquake of Magnitude:4.0, Occurred on:17-03-2019, 05:11:29 IST, Lat:27.4 N & Long: 75.7 E, Depth: 10 Km, Region:Distt.- Sikar, Rajasthan," IMD (Earthquake) tweeted. There were no immediate reports of loss of life or property.
On Saturday, an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale shook the Nicobar Islands region at 9:43 am. There were no reports of loss of life or property.
