Earthquake Hits Andaman Islands Region, No Casualties Reported

New Delhi, Oct 1: An earthquake of 5.0 magnitude hit Andaman Islands region on Monday evening. The quake struke Andaman Islands region at 6:54 pm.  The epicentre of the quake was in Andaman Islands region at a depth of 26.3 km. There was no immidiate report of any casualty or damage. Further reports were awaited.

An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale hit Andaman Islands last month.
