Kolkata, December 17: A prominent school in Kolkata had recently advised students not to share non-vegetarian food in class, hence, bringing the veg versus non-veg debate in the classroom. The row was sparked when one student shared the chicken sandwich with other students, who were vegetarian, during the recess. Other classmates started being harsh to the student, who claimed that he did not know that some classmates are vegetarian, Times of India reported.

As the matter became big and parents intervened, the school authorities had issued a notice asking students not to share non-vegetarian food with other students. Although the school has managed to resolve the issue with peace, but vegetarian versus non-vegetarian remains the basic problem with most of the school, forcing many of them imposing guidelines on food. National Nutrition Week 2018: 5 Dietician-Recommended Healthy Tiffin Box Ideas for Your Child!
