Domestic Help Found Hanging at IAF Chief Birender Singh Dhanoa’s Residence
A 30-year-old domestic servant employed at the residence of Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself on Thursday afternoon.
New Delhi, November 10: A 30-year-old domestic help employed at the residence of Indian Air Force (IAF) Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself on Thursday afternoon. The incident occurred at IAF chief's home in Lutyen's Delhi. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Manoj Kumar who worked at Dhanoa's residence on 23 Akbar Road as a contractual employee but didn't inhibit the servant's quarter. The decreased was residing in North-East Delhi's Gokulpuri area. After being informed about the incident, police officials rushed to Dhanoa's residence. When police officials reached at the scene the servant's quarter was found locked from inside and they had to break the door. "Kumar was found hanging from the ceiling fan," said Madhur Verma, deputy commissioner of police, New Delhi area.
According to the police, Kumar was stressed out and was suffering from depression because of some personal issues. Police have started a probe into the matter and his family has been informed about the incident. During the search operations, no suicide note was found.
