Mumbai, September 17: In a deeply disturbing incident, an elderly man was caught having unnatural sex with a stray dog in Thane's Mumbra. An alert citizen caught the accused sexually exploiting the dog in Azad Nagar. An FIR has been filed against the accused at the Mumbra police station. The accused, however, is currently absconding, and the police are on the lookout for him.

The head of PFA-Mumbai, Vijay Rangare, who helps animals and has a special role, talked to the Times of India. Rangare said, "The accused was identified as named Karim, and he's around 50 years old. A concerned person got a video showing him having sex with a dog. On September 10th, we told the police about it, but Karim is now hiding." At first, some animal activists saw the video. As per the report, Rangare mentioned they shared a picture of the accused in the Azad Nagar neighbourhood. Some local residents recognised him by his first name, 'Karim,' and mentioned that he would frequently wander around the area without any clear purpose. Mumbra police station has registered a case against the accused under section 377 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 11(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. The accused, Karim, is still missing, and police are still searching for him.
