In a shocking case from the National capital, a case has been registered against a drunk man for setting 18 vehicles ablaze including 14 two-wheelers and four cars.
New Delhi, November 7: In a shocking case from the national capital, a case has been registered against a drunk man for setting 18 vehicles ablaze including 14 two-wheelers and four cars. The incident took place in South Delhi's Madangir area on Tuesday. In the video which has gone viral on Social media, the person can be seen setting fire to the vehicles by opening the fuel pipes of the motorbike.
The police officials said that efforts are being made to catch the accused who is currently on a run. However, amidst burnt vehicles, eight motorbikes and two cars were completely gutted, while two cars and six two-wheelers were affected partially. Meanwhile, nearly 200 people have been booked in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday for busting firecrackers out the time set by Tamil Nadu state government. According to a report 80 peoples were booked from TN's Villupuram district for busting fireworks. While, over 150 people were booked in Coimbatore, Chennai, Virudhunagar, Villupuram, Tiruppur, Tirunelveli and other parts of the state. In most of the cases, only FIR was registered, although, Tirunelveli police arrested six and Namakkal police arrested one for violating apex court's order but soon were released on bail.
