Diwali 2018 Turns Tragic in Bihar's West Champaran, Aurangabad; 5 Killed in Two Road Accidents

Aurangabad, November 7: Diwali this year turned tragic for few families in Bihar as a total of 5 people, including an executive of a private bank, were killed in two separate road accidents reported in Aurangabad and West Champaran districts.

In Aurangabad, three persons travelling in a car were killed when their vehicle was hit by a speeding a speeding truck from behind, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Anoop Kumar. Three other occupants of the ill-fated car suffered injuries in the accident. They are being treated at a hospital in Gaya, where their condition is reported to be stable.

Meanwhile, two motorcyclists died in West Champaran district, when they were rammed into by a speeding auto-rickshaw. The accident occurred on the Narkatiaganj-Sahodara road, said district Superintendent of Police Jayant Kant. The deceased including a private bank official, belong to the adjacent villages, and were returning from East Champaran region.
