New Delhi, November 8: In a continued effort to enhance public transport in Delhi's outer and rural areas, the Aam Aadmi Party Government of Delhi launched a new bus route from Galib Pur Village in Matiala. Inaugurated by Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot, today, the bus route will cover a total distance of 46.1 kilometers, and connect several key locations, providing residents in multiple villages and colonies with improved access to the city. The trip starting at Ghuman Hera depot and ending at Kendriya Terminal will take approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, covering critical transit points.

Speaking at the flag-off event, Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot remarked, “This new route is an important step toward our goal of ensuring reliable and accessible public transport for all Delhi residents, including those in the city’s rural and remote areas. The route covers significant areas, including IGI airport, Dhaula Kuan Metro station, Shankar Vihar Metro station, Ghuman Hera Depot, Rawta Village, Chhawla Village, Kapashera Crossing, Dwarka, Mahipalpur Crossing, Dhaula Kuan, and Kendriya Terminal at Gurudwara Rakab Ganj, making it an essential link for residents commuting to and from Najafgarh.
