Delhi: SUV Collides with Auto in Greater Kailash, 1 Killed, 2 Injured

A speeding Land Cruiser collided with an auto-rickshaw, leaving one person dead and two others injured in Delhi's Greater Kailash area, police said on Monday.

New Delhi, Nov 9: A speeding Land Cruiser collided with an auto-rickshaw, leaving one person dead and two others injured in Delhi's Greater Kailash area, police said on Monday.

Auto driver Vinod Kumar, a resident of Jasola in south-east Delhi, succumbed to his injuries at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Trauma Centre, where he was rushed to after the accident on the Chirag Delhi flyover BRT Road on Sunday. Delhi: Truck Rams into Furniture Factory, 2 Dead.

Pankaj Kumar and Arun Sahu, both residents of Panchsheel Enclave, were undergoing treatment at hospital.

"A case under Sections 279, 337 and 304A of the Indian Penal Code was registered at the Greater Kailash-1 police station and accused driver Surender Sahlot, 51, of Fatehpur Beri in Delhi was arrested," DCP South Atul Thakur said.
