Delhi, September 4: A shocking incident of murder has come to light from Delhi, where a 15-year-old boy allegedly stabbed to death the owner of a momo shop. Police officials said that the minor boy killed the victim to take revenge for his mother’s death, who had died after getting electrocuted while working at the Momo joint. The alleged incident occurred on Monday, September 2, at around 9.30 PM.

Cops also said that the minor boy and his mother used to work at the same shop, reports Indian Express. After being stabbed, the victim was rushed to a hospital, where he passed away while undergoing treatment for multiple stab injuries. Officials also stated that the minor boy's mother had died sometime in August. The alleged incident came to light on Monday when cops received a PCR call at around 12 pm from a hospital that informed them about a man being stabbed. When cops reached the hospital, the Medico-Legal Case (MLC) report showed that the victim was stabbed multiple times. During preliminary investigation, cops found that the minor boy was filled with rage over his mother's death.

It is learned that the boy felt that the momo joint owner killed his mother. On September 2, the minor boy left his home and followed the victim. Later in the night, the minor boy followed the victim to the metro station after the latter closed his shop. After this, he stabbed the shop's owner and fled to his home. Duirng questioning, the minor confessed to the crime and told cops that he wanted to take revenge for his mother's death who died after getting electrocuted at the shop.
