Delhi, June 30: In a distressing incident at Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, a 23-year-old pregnant woman, Monu Kumari, and her unborn child tragically passed away under circumstances. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, June 29, in the government-run facility, has sparked a probe following serious allegations of medical negligence levelled by the woman's family. According to reports, Monu Kumari's husband, Sudhakar Singh, accused the hospital of delayed treatment despite her critical condition.

As per a Time of India report, the sequence of events leading to the tragic deaths of Monu Kumari began with her admission for medical care due to her pregnancy. Kumari, who was 38 weeks pregnant, underwent an urgent ultrasound examination, which indicated serious concerns. Allegedly, despite the urgency noted in the ultrasound report, Monu had to wait nearly three hours before receiving medical intervention. During this time, she was given pain medication and an injection in the emergency room. Bomb Threat Email in Delhi: After Government Hospitals, Indira Gandhi International Airport Receives Bomb Threats Through Email in National Capital.
