New Delhi, Sep 21: In a shocking incident, an 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the national capital on Friday. According to a tweet by ANI, the minor was allegedly raped in ESI Hospital in Rohini by a housekeeping staff of the hospital. A case has been registered at KN Katju Marg Police Station. Reports inform that the accused has been arrested and police have initiated an investigation into the matter. The girl was admitted to the hospital for medical treatment. In a similar incident, an assistant commissioner of police was booked on Thursday for allegedly raping a woman and molesting her minor daughter. According to a PTI report, ACP Ramesh Dahiya, posted in the Delhi Police's security wing, has been sent on leave after allegations surfaced against him, Police informed. The report further informs that the officer claimed he had lent money to the woman and when he asked her to repay the amount, she levelled allegations of rape against him.

Earlier this week, a 21-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl in Delhi's Shahdara's Seemapuri area. The victim's mother in her complaint alleged that her daughter was raped by a neighbour. The incident came to light after the victim narrated her ordeal when she was asked by her mother. The incident took at around 10.30 pm when the girl was playing outside her residence. The accused took her to the bushes near the DLF chowk and raped her, a senior police officer said.
