New Delhi, March 9: In a shocking case reported from Delhi, a 20-year-old youth was allegedly killed by his friend. The accused, identified as 22-year-old Akash, committed this crime to take revenge for being beaten up by the victim three years ago. The incident took place in South Delhi's Sangam Vihar area on Wednesday, when Akash took the victim to a forest on the pretext of consuming drugs. According to police reports, three years ago, Akash was beaten up by the victim, Sanoj, when he asked him to return Rs 1000 that he had borrowed. At that time, the duo didn't file a police complaint as the matter was resolved after Akash received monetary help from Sanoj for his treatment. After police officials learned about the crime, Akash was arrested. During interrogation, he confessed to the offence and admitted that he mutilated his body with a sharp stone and buried it in the forest. After the body was recovered by police officials, Akash was booked under the various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
