Delhi, October 23: A 45-year-old bakery worker was killed in North Delhi by a customer allegedly over refusing to give polythene bag. The victim was hit on the head on October 15 and was rushed to GTB Hospital where he succumbed to injuries on Sunday. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder). According to the deceased's son, who was present at the time of the incident, told police that the accused, Faizan, came to the bakery at 10 am on October 15 to buy rusk. Faizan asked for a plastic bag but since it was banned, they didn't had any.

The victim, Khaleel, packed the rusk in a paper bag. Angry over this Faizan threw all the things kept on the counter. He started assaulting Khaleel and hit him on a face with a brick. A passerby made a PCR (Police Control Room) call and rushed Khaleel to the hospital. "The accused has not been arrested. He has filed an application saying he is juvenile which he is not," claimed the deceased's son.
