Delhi Metro Train Services on Yellow Line Delayed Due to Passenger on Track at GTB Nagar

There is a delay in service between Samaypur Badli and Vishwavidyalaya on Yellow Line due to a passenger on track at GTB Nagar on Monday morning. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has confirmed that normal services are there on all the other lines.

New Delhi, September 16: On Monday morning, while people left for their respective offices and workplaces, they met with delays on Yellow Line in Delhi Metro services. According to an ANI update, the delay in services was between Samaypur Badli and Vishwavidyalaya on Yellow Line due to a passenger on track at GTB Nagar. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has confirmed that services on all the other lines were running normally. More details on this news are awaited.

This incident follows a day after a Chinese Manja affected the metro services in the Red Line in the national capital on Sunday. As a precautionary measure, all the passengers were asked to deboard the trai.  Delhi Metro Employee Commits Suicide; Streams It Live on Facebook.

On Sunday, the Metro train going towards Rithala was stalled, between the New Bus Stand station in Ghaziabad and Seelampur station, due to the Manja. Around 4 p.m., the Metro control room detected the Manja on the powerline near the Seelampur station and halted the train, said a Delhi Metro official.
