New Delhi, November 30: Metro train services in the national capital were halted on Friday due to a technical glitch. According to a tweet by ANI, the metro services took a hit on the Dilshad Garden-Rithala line following some technical snag during the early hours on Friday. Commuters taking the Delhi Metro's Red Line faced inconvenience in reaching their destinations. People have been advised to leave early today as train services have been hit.

Earlier this week, metro services on Delhi Metro’s Blue Line, connecting Noida and Vaishali to Dwarka in west Delhi, were severely hit. Commuters took to micro-blogging site Twitter to vent their anger over the sluggishly moving trains and long halts. According to reports, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has imposed multiple security checks at few metro stations in the national capital ahead following threats of terrorist attacks in the national capital. A report by Hindustan Times informed that every passenger is being frisked twice before they can head ahead at stations with high footfall including Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Chandni Chowk among others.
