Delhi, September 2: A section of the Delhi metro's Blue Line was disrupted on Monday morning after a 40-year-old committed suicide by jumping in front of metro tracks at Jhandewalan metro station in central Delhi. A Police Control Room (PCR) call was received at 8:50 am at the police station at Raja Garden Metro station that the woman had fallen. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) tweeted that services between Indraprastha and Kirti Nagar were delayed. "Blue Line Update. Delay in services between Indraprastha and Kirti Nagar due to a passenger on track at Jhandewalan. Normal service on all other lines," the DMRC tweeted at 8:33 am. The cops are trying to identify the deceased. The body has been taken to Lady Hardinge Medical College. Initial investigation reveals that the woman had committed suicide by jumping in front of the train.
