Delhi Man Rapes Niece For Four Year on Pretext of Correcting Her 'Manglik Dosh', Arrested

A man has been arrested for allegedly raping her 23-year-old niece for over the period of four years on the pretext of treating her 'Manglik Dosh'.

New Delhi, October 2: A man has been arrested for allegedly raping his 23-year-old niece for over the period of four years on the pretext of treating her 'Manglik Dosh'. The man told his niece that if the dosh is not corrected then her father would die, police said adding that, he committed the crime regularly. The man who is the paternal uncle of the woman continued to commit the crime even after the woman got married. The matter came to light when the woman told the whole incident to her father-in-law about her uncle's misdeeds. Later he took woman to the Narela police station where the FIR was registered against the accused. Previously a similar incident has taken place where a woman was allegedly gang-raped by her husband's relatives along with tantrik in Haryana's Yamunanagar. According to police reports, the in-laws called victims father and told them she was ill. Upon reaching to in-laws residence, her father found that she was in an unconscious state. After she regained the consciousness she narrated the whole incident to her father who then registered a complaint against all the accused.
