New Delhi, November 27: The cleric, arrested under the Arms Act during his visit to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, has been identified as Imran. On Monday, a live bullet was seized from him during checking when he went to visit Kejriwal. The Delhi Police informed that Imran was among the Muslim clerics who had gone to the CM with a request to increase the salary by Waqf Board. According to a tweet by ANI, Imran informed the police that he found the bullets in the donation of a mosque. After interrogation by the Police, the man said that he kept the bullet in his wallet and later forgot about it. An investigation into the matter has been initiated by the police. While speaking at the one-day special session of the Delhi Assembly on Monday, Kejriwal asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to step down if he can not ensure his safety, days after a man flung chilli powder at him inside the Delhi secretariat. The Delhi Chief Minister alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was behind the Nov 20 attack as it was “baffled” by the “good work” done by his government in the national capital.
