New Delhi, October 14: A 30-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly posing as an account holder of Central Bank of India (CBI) branch in Dwarka. The person was identified as Koshi Kumar, a native of Jharkhand's Giridih district has been arrested by police and taken into custody. Bank Robbery in Delhi Caught on Camera: Armed Men Kill Cashier of Corporation Bank Branch in Dwarka, Flee With Over Rs 2 Lakh.

The person was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed on 17 September at Chanakyapuri police station. In the complaint it was alleged that he has withdrawn nearly Rs 11.5 lakh from the victim's bank account, a senior officer from Chanakyapuri police station said.

The victim alleged that his registered mobile number with the bank was changed without his consent and the amount was withdrawn through net banking. During the initial investigations, police have questioned the bank employees and their account details were obtained.

With the CCTV's help, police have identified two persons. One was Kumar, and police are trying to track down the other accused. The role of the bank employees in the fraud is also investigated.

Earlier on Friday, a bank in Delhi's Dwarka city was robbed by armed men. The six masked people entered the bank and open fired on the employees killing cashier and injuring three persons. The incident was recorded in CCTV and police are trying to trace them.
