New Delhi, October 18: In a chilling incident being reported from Delhi, lower-half portion of a girl's body was found in Mundka area on Tuesday, around 10 days after her death. A murder case has been registered and the police is investigating the matter. The incident once again raises question over the safety of women and about how isolated spots are becoming a place of crime as increasing number of bodies are found dumped at such spots.

This is a developing story and the police has refrained from speaking on the issue. However, this is not the first such incident when a dead body has been found. The body of a Rajasthan-based girl was found in a bag at Mind Space in Mumbai's Malad on Tuesday, October 16. According to a report by ANI, a 19-year-old student identified as Muzammil Sayyad has been arrested in connection with the murder. A six-year-old girl was found murdered in Ghaziabad district earlier this month. The post-mortem findings have sparked tensions in Muradnagar region of Ghaziabad, where the horrific crime was committed. The victim, daughter of a Muslim family in the locality, had gone missing on Saturday, October 6, afternoon 12:45pm. The police had registered the case on the same night and launched a search operation, according to media reports.
