New Delhi, November 19: At least four people have lost their lives and one person has been injured after a massive fire broke out in a factory in the national capital on Monday. Earlier this week, a fire broke out at a plastic factory in Bawana Industrial Area of the city while another fire incident was reported from a restaurant in Baba Kharak Singh Marg in the national capital.
Earlier this month, at least 25 shanties were gutted in a fire that broke out in southeast Delhi's Jangpura area. A senior officer of the Delhi Fire Service was quoted by PTI saying that the incident took place on Sunday night. Earlier in May, four people, including two children, died in two separate fire incidents in the south and northwest Delhi. A fire department official was quoted by PTI saying that in the first incident, a boy and his sister were charred to death after an air conditioner compressor exploded at their home in northwest Delhi's Adarsh Nagar area. Meanwhile, in the second incident, two people died in a fire at a tent godown in south Delhi's Kotla Mubarakpur area.
