New Delhi, October 22: A massive fire broke out at a bus parking at Mori Gate in the national capital on Monday. According to a tweet by ANI, fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. More details awaited. No casualties have been reported so far in the blaze.

On Sunday night, a major fire broke out at a godown in west Delhi's Moti Nagar. According to details by the Fire Department, a call was received at 8.40 pm about smoke coming out from the godown located on the Rama Road at Moti Nagar. A fire official was quoted by PTI saying that  12 fire tenders have been pressed into operation, but the blaze is still raging and not under control even at 10.15 pm. In another similar incident, a massive fire erupted at Bhalswa landfill site in Delhi. According to reports, around 2,700 tonnes of garbage is dumped per day at the 40-acre landfill. It must be noted that Bhalswa, located in northwest Delhi, is the largest landfill of the national capital that caters to nearly 50 percent population of Delhi, including Jahangirpuri, Civil Lines, Kirti Nagar, Model Town and old Delhi’s Chandni Chowk.
