Delhi Fire: Blaze Engulfs Building in Krishna Nagar, 40 Rescued So Far

According to a tweet by ANI, the fire broke out in a building in Krishna Nagar at around 2.10 am today. People who were stuck inside the building were rescued by the Delhi Fire Service (DFS). No casualties have been reported so far.

New Delhi, December 26: As many as 40 people were rescued after a massive fire broke out in Delhi on Thursday. Reports inform that the blaze broke out on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. According to a tweet by ANI, the fire was reported in a building in Krishna Nagar at around 2.10 am. People who were stuck inside the building were rescued by the Delhi Fire Service (DFS). No casualties have been reported so far.

On Tuesday, a massive fire broke at a shoe factory in Delhi due to a cylinder blast. The blaze engulfed a shoe factory in Outer Delhi's Narela industrial area, the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said. On Monday, nine were killed after a massive blaze broke out at a cloth godown in Delhi's Kirari area. The injured were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital and other nearby hospitals.

Earlier this month, 43 people lost their lives in a major fire tragedy at Anaj Mandi factory in Delhi. According to reports, around 70 people were sleeping inside the factory when the fire broke out.
